Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine

Lauren completed her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Alberta in 2014 and after personally experiencing the benefits of Chinese medicine she enrolled in the Acupuncture program at Grant Macewan University. She received her R. Ac (registered acupuncturist) designation in March of 2017. Lauren utilizes a combination of acupuncture, tui na (Chinese massage), cupping, electro acupuncture, moxabustion, Gua sha, and herbal medicine in her practice. She is also certified in the NADA (National Acupuncture detox association) protocol.

Having been a competitive gymnast most of her life, Lauren has a special interest in sports injury and musculoskeletal dysfunction and has taken many of the Sport Medicine Acupuncture courses. One of the things Lauren loves most about acupuncture is its diversity and the large scope of issues that can be treated. In her free time Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband and family, and always looks forward to her next beach vacation. She has a passion for TCM and healthcare and loves educating people on the many ways that acupuncture and Chinese Medicine can improve their lives.
